Someone Sent Emails From My Account?

I received a no subject Email from a friend. It only had a link to a …html site – I DID NOT LINK to the site – but it still hacked my contact list and sent out emails to every one of my friends – what do I need to do if anything to prevent it from happening again – ie sending emails to my friends from my account?

    I’m sorry about your account. Changing your password is a good step. Have your computer scanned as well for viruses. There is a possibility that someone installed a keylogger (notes all your keystrokes including account info) on your computer. I’ve posted the address of a Yahoo!     1. Login to Yahoo! Mail
    2. Click on your name (on the upper left part of the page)
    3. Select Account Info (system may ask you to enter password again)
    4. Under Sign-In and Security, click Change your password
    5. Enter current password then new password. Confirm new password
    6. Click Save
